Expert careers information, advice, and guidance from day one until two years after graduation. Support includes skills reflection, CV writing, and mock interviews, with tips for technique.

Inclusive careers education

Royal Holloway includes employability skills in all course curriculums. This includes learning from real work experiences and projects related to relevant industries.

Range of support

Students can drop by for a session with a peer-to-peer careers coach or book a one-to-one with a careers expert. They can use a suite of digital tools 24/7 and attend skills workshops to get future-ready.

Employer engagement

Hundreds of alumni and employers visit every year to speak about career opportunities and offer mentoring. Employers attend university careers fairs, sector-themed weeks, networking opportunities, and drop-ins.

Widening your experience

All undergraduates can take an optional placement year in employment, study abroad, or volunteer. This will help to broaden their experience, build their employability skills, and enhance their CV.

Careers services access after graduation

Students can access careers services for 2 years after they graduate.
