Many of Brunel's degrees can be taken with a placement year. There are also opportunities to go abroad to study or work, allowing students to gain valuable employability skills and broaden their horizons. Students can choose from over 3,800 rooms, including en-suite, studios for couples, and specially adapted rooms for disables students. Free Wi-Fi is available in halls, as well as shared kitchen and dining facilities, and 24-hour campus security. There are also communal areas for socialising. In accessible halls, several rooms are adapted for disabled students.
