Scotland鈥檚 hidden gems sparkle in the subject areas the nation is well known for.
In the fields of science and medicine, Queen Margaret University ranks 5th in the UK for Counselling, Psychotherapy & Occupational Therapy, Glasgow Caledonian University achieves 4th and 6th place in Medical Technology & Bioengineering and Counselling, Psychotherapy & Occupational Therapy respectively, and Robert Gordon University is 2nd in the UK for Forensic Science and 3rd for Physiotherapy.
In other areas where Scotland is known to excel, the University of Dundee places 10th in the UK for Art & Design, and Heriot-Watt University ranks 6th in the UK for Building.
Not to be outdone, Stirling is a UK-wide hidden gem for Education ranking 7th place.
There are also institutions that exceed all expectations to deliver country-beating outcomes in this year鈥檚 Whatuni Student Choice Awards. The University of Strathclyde secured 3rd place in the UK for having the best Students鈥 Union, while the University of Aberdeen was voted 4th in the UK for Student Support.
These hidden gems have been revealed by the Complete University 51视频's 2024 league tables. This data is complemented by May's Whatuni Student Choice Awards, hosted by its sister site Whatuni, building on the information available to prospective students to help them make the right decisions as they consider their higher education options. This information, when used together, can help students see that Clearing is a chance for a fresh start with fantastic opportunities.
