The鈥疷niversity of Brighton鈥痠s known for its focus on practice-based, creative, and professional education.
It offers a wide range of courses across various subject areas such as鈥痑pplied sciences,鈥痑rchitecture, technology, and engineering,鈥痑rt and media,鈥痓usiness and law,鈥痚ducation and teaching,鈥痟umanities and social science, and鈥痵port and health sciences.
All undergraduate courses provide opportunities for work-related learning, and many offer professional accreditation and extended work placements.

Facilities at the university include the鈥疉ldrich Library,鈥痗omputer pool rooms,鈥痶wo restaurants and five cafes. There's also a wealth of sports facilities including鈥痝yms,鈥痜ootball pitches,鈥痠ndoor courts for basketball and volleyball,鈥痶ennis and netball, courts鈥痑n artificial outdoor cricket wicket and activity studios among other things.

When you attend an open day, you'll get a gut feeling about the university. Open days will help give you clarity if you're not sure what course to choose. You'll be able to visit different departments and chat with lecturers and other department staff, there are often subject talks too. You'll also get to speak to current students. They can tell you whether they're satisfied with the teaching, what the local nightlife is like, what the best halls of residence are 鈥� pretty much anything.鈥疍on't forget to look at the accommodation for yourself and make time to walk around the surrounding area to see if you like it.
Where is it located?
This university has four campuses, three of which are in Brighton, namely Moulsecoomb City, Falmer and City campus. The other site is in Eastbourne. All the campuses can be reached by foot, car, bus or train.
An arty coastal city, Brighton is known for its inclusivity, quirky character, nightlife, beaches, and labyrinth of independent shopping and eating places known as The Lanes.
Only an hour away from London by train and half an hour from London Gatwick Airport, you'll have plenty to do locally or further afield.
