Open days at Bournemouth University
Bournemouth University is known for its鈥痠nnovative research鈥痑nd鈥痟igh-quality teaching.
The university has a great reputation for media and communications and is home to the only Centre for Excellence in Media Practice (CEMP) in the UK. It's also well known for its courses in health and social care, business, and law.鈥�

Facilities
The university has libraries on both campuses, open seven days a week and IT facilities are available 24/7 in open-access computing centres.
Talbot Campus is home to most of the university's sporting facilities, including a鈥痝ym,鈥痜itness classes,鈥痵ports halls,鈥痮utdoor pitches, and鈥痶ennis courts.

Where is it located?
The university has two campuses, Talbot and Lansdowne. Talbot campus is about three miles from the town centre and is where the primary university buildings are found including the student union and main library.
Lansdowne Campus is based in the town centre and is where most of the Faculty of Health & Social Sciences' teaching is delivered, along with the Business School's postgraduate programmes. 鈥�
The university has a鈥痙edicated bus service, UNIBUS, which provides frequent links between halls and the two campuses. 鈥�
Bournemouth has a growing reputation for being one of the best places in the country to come to study. With its beaches, nightlife and green spaces, it's got lots to do without it feeling overwhelming, like a big city might. The main clubs and bars are in Lansdowne where a lot of the student accommodation is based so you'll be close to the action. Nearby you've also got the Jurassic coast and the New Forest if you fancy a day out.
