What’s Business Analytics?

Business Analytics focuses on the systems and processes used to solve problems in business. Business Analysts use data analysis, statistical models, and other methods to help companies make informed decisions.

The four main methods of analysis are descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive. As a business analyst you will use one or more of these methods to get an understanding of a business to help improve its performance.
