What is your degree and where are you studying?

I am studying Air Transport with Commercial Pilot Training at BNU.

Why did you enter Clearing?

I knew I always wanted to be a pilot and I was originally meant to be doing an apprenticeship, but unfortunately it had fallen through. I saw the Air Transport with Commercial Pilot Training course at BNU and decided to apply. 

What factors finally made you settle on the course you chose?

BNU are really supportive, and the campus feels really new, the technology and library offer great resources too. There is no harm in applying, I’ve ended up here flying planes and maybe you could end up on a course that you want to do which will help you end up where you want to be in life.  

Did you find a place to live easily?

I applied to BNU by picking up the phone and calling their Clearing hotline number. Since having that initial phone call, it took 3 weeks to get a place in halls, move in and get started on my course, it was a quick process. I'm now looking forward to my second and third years.

Have you enjoyed your course and time at uni?

BNU have been really supportive, and I’ve learnt a lot in my first year. I’ve had some amazing opportunities so far like speaking at Pilot Careers live, which I loved. The town is fairly small but also still has a great nightlife with loads of bars, pubs and nightclubs.
