What is your degree, and where are you studying?

I am currently studying Sport & Exercise Science here at the University鈥檚 Bedford campus. 

Why did you enter Clearing? 

Upon receiving my A level results, I was offered my insurance choice, however I decided I wasn鈥檛 happy with the course offered at that particular university or its location. So, I had to go through Clearing and secured a place at the University of Bedfordshire. 

What factors made you finally settle on the course you chose?

On results day, I had to go through UCAS and the Clearing process, which matched me to a few universities, and I also did my own research directly through university websites. I then called up the Clearing hotline of each university of interest, finding any opportunities such as open days or tours. And eventually I came to the University of Bedfordshire for a visit and decided to accept the offer after seeing the facilities and campus.

Have you enjoyed your course and time at uni?

I would say the support I have received here has been amazing as starting in a new learning environment while being away from home has had its challenges, but I鈥檝e been able to overcome them with support from lecturers and my academic tutor. The Student Information Desk has also been a great resource which has supported me with any academic issues.
