Course summary
Sociology and Politics offers an overview of key issues, debates and areas of sociology and political science.You will explore the different social norms, interactions, conflicts and networks that constitute everyday life.The two disciplines are bound together. Developing your understanding of both fields enables you to understand and address fundamental questions about social life.Year 1- In Year 1 you will study compulsory sociology and politics modules and will choose a further two options. Year 2- As with Year 1, you continue with the compulsory courses for sociology and politics and choose a further two options. Year 3- You will study a mix of sociology and politics honours courses. Year 4- You will study a mix of sociology and politics courses and complete a project in one of the disciplines.
