Course summary
The foundation year will introduce you to study at university and your chosen subject. It also provides a highly supportive environment where you can develop your self-confidence. On our Psychology degree you'll cover all the core areas of psychology, from biological, cognitive, developmental, social and individual differences psychology to conceptual and historical issues as well as research methods. As you move into the final year, you'll undertake an independent research project, under the supervision of an experienced member of the Psychology Team, which will give you the opportunity to consolidate and deepen your knowledge and understanding.Throughout the course, you'll develop transferable skills that will prepare you for employment.
