Explore all aspects of the nervous system, from the molecular to the behavioural.On your three-year Neuroscience degree you will discover the processes behind neurological disorders and study the wider aspects of physiology, pharmacology and the immune system, graduating primed to start your career.Based in our multi-million pound, state-of-the-art Life Sciences building, you will explore the vital role neuroscience plays in the prevention of neurodegenerative conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease and delve into one of science’s greatest challenges - the human nervous system. You will have the flexibility to tailor your degree through our extensive range of modules, have the opportunity to spend a year in the pharmaceutical industry, between years two and three, and an opportunity to spend a semester at a partner university during year two.This course will also lead to a range of careers in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, research fields. and clinical science.99% of Biological Sciences graduates were in employment or further study 15 months after graduation (Graduate Outcomes 2020/2021).

A level : AAB

AAB to include Chemistry and one further science subject. A level science subjects considered include Biology, Human Biology, Physics, Maths, Statistics, Psychology, Environmental Studies, Geography and Geology. Science practical components must be passed. General Studies, Critical Thinking and Use of Mathematics are excluded for entry. Science practical components must be passed where applicable.
