Course summary

Let your creativity flow and develop your own talent through live performances, studio recordings, concerts and gigs in the region.Through practical projects and lectures in industry-standard facilities, you’ll explore and challenge the value, status and significance of music in our society in this music performance degree. Your practical work will culminate in a large-scale project to create a stepping stone for your future career.We’ve strong partnerships with Opera North and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO). RPO hold masterclasses, offer one-to-one tuition, ensemble coaching and provide work experience opportunities. This course is a variant of the BA Music programme. You’ll share the same modules as other BA Music students, but your assessments and specialist cluster groups will focus on performance.
