This course will help you to realise your management potential by exposing you to real-life consultancy opportunities and by forging industry connections.
With a strong focus on entrepreneurship, ethics, and sustainability, you'll learn how to adapt your business to suit new opportunities or combat challenges without having a detrimental impact on society or the planet.
You'll also be supported to develop your own management style and reflect on your personal effectiveness.
With four core modules covering global operations, business strategy, supply chain management, and international trading from a legal and financial perspective, and a final independent research-based consultancy project, you'll be fully equipped for a sustainable career in business and management.
While studying at ARU Peterborough, you'll increase your employability, make strong professional connections, and grow in confidence as you build your business management experience by regularly working directly with industry professionals in the Peterborough area.
TEACHING AND ASSESSMENT
Our MSc International Business Management course features five key modules.
From the start of the course you will gain a comprehensive understanding of the major challenges and opportunities associated with the formulation and implementation of contemporary, political, technological, and economic concepts and theories that shape international business strategy.
This course will also give you the tools, skills, and knowledge to drive decision making in globalised businesses in the context of international trade, legal systems, and financial constraints. You will also develop your knowledge around international trading and contract law, and how to resolve disputes.
You will develop a global mindset to manage complex operations across national borders and gain an understanding of a range of service and manufacturing principles and philosophies to help you build a blended, global approach to operations management.
