Programme description
The Degree of Master of Philosophy (MPhil) is a research degree in which the student pursues a single project for a period of one year.
Our School is one of the largest electrical and electronic engineering schools in the UK. We have strong links with industry in a number of sectors and are renowned for our theoretical and applied research. We have over 70 academic staff and their research interests cover virtually all aspects of the subject; from the generation and distribution of electrical energy through to photonics and functional materials.
