Career opportunitiesGraduates of BA Liberal Arts will be highly employable in any sector from government and public sectors to education, media, volunteering/NGO sector, and the corporate sector.Employability skills are embedded in the programme. It offers the opportunity for a year long work placement, the opportunity to spend a term abroad, and the opportunity to undertake a final year project module which builds from the previous year's placement. Our 'authentic assessment' approach allows students to graduate with a portfolio which may include websites, blogs, video-essays, policy reports, reviews – all of which will display critical thinking, communication skills and analytical argument. The portfolio will be a valuable item in a graduate's job hunting toolkit.
