Our LLB at Oxford Brookes is a law degree that gives you the critical thinking, communication, and advocacy skills to prepare you for a successful legal career. You’ll study the foundations of the English legal system including Public Law, Contract Law, and Criminal Law, and explore exciting optional modules such as Environmental Law and Computer Law and AI.You’ll have regular opportunities to build the practical legal skills you’ll need in practice. Our award-winning and active research staff provide a wide range of activities and events for you to gain practical legal experience. You’ll meet practising lawyers and benefit from our links with the legal profession.We also offer two specialist pathways: LLB Commercial Law and LLB Criminal Law. Your tutors can support you in deciding whether to follow a specialist pathway and guide you through your learning journey.Many of our graduates have gone on to careers as barristers and solicitors, but many take their sought-after skills into other industries. With the connections you’ll make at Oxford Brookes, you’ll have plenty of options.
