This programme has responded to the change in the sector by incorporating new elements of policy and skills and increasing options for students in the rapidly evolving environment of health and social care, and children and young people鈥檚 services. The aim is to develop a health and social care workforce that is capable of meeting strategic governmental goals and is prepared for an employment environment of multiple and diverse opportunities.

This programme aims to provide you with progressive studies that have relevance to careers in the primary functions of care within the health and social care sector. You will exercise investigative, reflective analytical and reasoning powers in context and be provided with the knowledge and skills to progress onto the degree programme.
