: This online top-up degree is ideal if you wish to study flexibly from anywhere in the UK or the world and enhance your career prospects. The course is a natural progression route for holders of a QCF Level 5 Higher National Diploma or equivalent qualification in a related discipline. You study via distance learning using Teesside University’s online learning platform which means you can easily fit your studies around work and other personal commitments.The course covers a broad spectrum of engineering topics and deepens your knowledge of subject areas previously studied as part of your HND, foundation degree or equivalent. You gain a rounded knowledge and understanding of electrical and electronic systems and drives. The design and project modules allow you to solve complex multi-disciplinary engineering design and implementation problems.


After the course

: Work opportunities exist in industries which include aerospace, communications, power generation and transmission, manufacturing and process, research and development and many others.
