Are you an aspiring entrepreneur? Maybe you’re keen to work in finance or business operations? This degree will teach you the ins and outs of business, finance and economics to help you prepare for a successful career in a range of business and finance related roles. On top of learning key theories and economic issues, you’ll be shown how to use the Bloomberg financial data software system that’s used on trading floors across the globe. We also make sure you have opportunities to learn from and network with industry experts.

This Economics, Finance and International Business course is designed to give you a broad but in-depth understanding of business theory and know-how, so you can go on to build an exciting career in a range of business or finance roles. You’ll study everything from finance and economics, through to business operations, risk management, capital markets, innovation and business strategy. Along with the support from our lecturers, you’ll learn how to analyse economic and financial data in our Bloomberg room, using the Bloomberg software system that’s widely used on trade floors around the world. You’ll also become familiar with other tools and packages such as Eviews, Stata, SPSS and Business Simulation. This degree also covers the changing world of business, focusing on the impact of Brexit and other global debates on trade. Our network with the city of London and other national businesses means you’ll benefit from guest lectures and networking events. These events give you the opportunity to gain invaluable knowledge from experienced business professionals, economists and finance practitioners. We want you to graduate in the best possible position, so that’s why we give you the option to include a sandwich work-placement year. This opportunity will give you an insight into the working world, help you develop practical skills, network with business professionals and gain hands-on experience to help you secure that dream graduate job after the course.
