Course summary

Our Computer Science with Management and a Year in Industry BSc course combines comprehensive coverage of the principles and disciplines of computer language, programming and project design with an introduction to fundamental management areas including economics, marketing and human resources. If you see yourself in a managerial role in computing, this course may be ideal for you. Youll spend your third year on a full-time placement, in industry or professional practice. Our Global Placements team will support you throughout your course with advice and activities to help you discover your options, focus your placement search and take action to achieve the right placement for you. Your placement is required to be a technical role which complements your studies, but you will have a great deal of freedom in what you choose to do. This depends on you reaching a certain grade average and obtaining a suitable placement opportunity.
