Become a highly skilled cybersecurity expert who can find and fix security vulnerabilities on this hands-on degree. Right from the very start, you’ll be analysing, designing and implementing secure software systems.

Using your grasp of programming and computer architecture, you'll create secure systems with fewer vulnerabilities, covering both offensive and defensive techniques. This course delivers lots of practical experience, working across desktop, mobile and embedded platforms.


Develop measures to stop cyberattacks

The UK's national cybersecurity strategy identifies software vulnerabilities as a key threat and makes building security into software from the start a national priority. But most software developers aren't cybersecurity experts – and that's what the industry needs right now. Your specialist developer expertise will make you hugely employable. You'll be prepared for the rapidly evolving cybersecurity work environment, using your expertise in ethical hacking, computing, secure software engineering and human-centred security.
