Course summary
On this Aerospace Engineering degree, youll apply everything you learn from our experts to the analysis and design of flying vehicles. Youll learn about aerodynamics, structures, propulsion, systems, flight dynamics, mechanical engineering and computer-aided design. Youll complete a creative aerospace-related research project in Year 3 and a group design project in Year 4, which will provide valuable team working experience. Our course offers an optional 48-week sandwich placement in industry for full-time students between Year 2 and Year 3. Benefit from the latest high-quality equipment and facilities available in our new £35m Engineering Innovation Centre, with access to flight simulators, an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) laboratory, and more.
