Overview

The course covers the core skills and processes required to be considered a practitioner of Game Art & Design and/or Visual Effects, with a primary focus on the ‘3D’ skills required across the fields.

The course pyramids learning, with you completing with both strong fundamentals and a specialism that has been influenced and affected by ongoing industry engagement.

What will I be studying

You will be taught by a team of experienced lecturers with a wealth of creative and technical knowledge and experience across the 3D Game Art world. Staff keep their fingers on the pulse of sector activity through industry engagement and client-projects and attending specialist conventions.

How will I be assessed?

Course work is assessed at regular staging points throughout the duration of the course.
The primary method of assessment will be through practical projects as you create a portfolio of work that demonstrates technical and creative know-how. This will be supported where appropriate by production logs and presentations.
